INSTRUCTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

We would like you to truly enjoy DryBell products for many years. Therefore, please read the following instructions carefully:

- Always read the user’s manual of the product you have purchased. If in doubt, further explanations can be found in the FAQ section of the website. For any unresolved issues, please contact DryBell.
- First plug in all the jacks, then switch on the pedal power supply and last of all switch on your amplifier.
- Before turning on the amplifier, the volume knobs should always be turned down to zero.
- Please make sure that you always connect your product to the adapter recommended in the user’s manual.
- Do not expose the product to rain or any other kind of liquid.
- If you don’t have an adequate surge protection, during lightning storms your products must be unplugged.
- Keep the products safe from falls or mechanical damage.
- Keep the original product packaging in case of storage, transport or product repair.
- Please keep the original invoice of the DryBell product because it is crucial for obtaining the warranty service.

1 YEAR BASIC WARRANTY

DryBell E.M.E.L. guarantees that the product will work without defects in materials or craftsmanship, for a period of one (1) year from the date of the purchase. The footswitch and internal bulb replacement is covered during the first six months of warranty. If a defect occurs within the warranty period, it will be rectified as soon as possible, without service charges for the owners of the product. If the product cannot be repaired, and the model is no longer produced, the product will be replaced with a newer model, or in an agreement with the buyer, with a similar product. DryBell will extend the warranty period for the duration of service failure if not repaired within 30 days (not including transportation time). If the initial buyer sells the product to a new owner, the warranty transfers to the new owner. All transportation costs for the service within the warranty period are paid by the owner of the goods. This warranty covers manufacturing defects that occurred while the product was used according to DryBell recommendations and instructions. The warranty does not cover loss or theft of products, and excludes failures caused by misuse, mechanical damage, liquid damage of any kind, falls, unauthorized modification, shock surge in electricity supply, lightning, improper storage and natural disasters. DryBell assumes no liability for any damages resulting from the use of this product. In using the product the customer hereby accepts all conditions set forth. 5 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY

The original purchaser of the DryBell product is entitled to one free product repair in the period of extended warranty. The extended warranty period runs from the date of expiry of the basic warranty (1 year) to five (5) years from the date of purchase. If your product warranty has expired, repairs are performed by way of installing the original parts and are charged. Transportation costs are charged to the original purchaser.

PRODUCT SERVICE

The servicing of DryBell products is exclusively carried out by DryBell or any other authorized service center. The unauthorized service, repair or modification of the DryBell product automatically voids the product warranty. If DryBell product requires servicing, please send a service request e-mail to service@drybell.com.

The servicing request e-mail should contain the following information:

1) Product model
2) Serial number of the product
3) How the defect happened. Please send a detailed and clear defect description.
4) If appropriate, send a photo of the damaged product.
5) Your name, surname and the address.
6) A copy of your original invoice of the DryBell product.

Normally we send a reply e-mail within 72 hours (excluding weekends). Before asking you to ship the product back for repair, we might send you an e-mail with some additional questions as sometimes the problem can be solved without returning the pedal to us.

When shipping the product for service, please include your personal information, a copy of your original invoice of the DryBell product and a service e-mail print. Please use the original (or similar) packaging of the product. Make sure the product is carefully packed.

After the product has arrived for servicing it is inspected by DryBell. If it is affirmed that the product hasn’t been used according to the given instructions and recommendations, the product warranty will not be valid anymore and the repair cost will be charged. If your product warranty has expired, repairs will also be charged.

Before returning the repaired product to its owner, all repair costs must be paid. The repair costs can be known only after the product is checked. Normally it can take up to 30 days to inspect and repair the product. You’ll be notified on the progress of the DryBell service via an e-mail.
