FAQ
General questions

Q: Do DryBell pedals have a true bypass switching system?
A: Yes, all DryBell pedals are true bypass and they use a mechanical footswitch with DryBell bypass LED electronics.

Q: What kind of power supply do DryBell pedals utilise?
A: Unless otherwise specified in the manual, DryBell pedals have a standard regulated or unregulated 9V DC adapter. Always check the instruction manual before connecting the adapter.

Q: What is a TFC™ output/link?
A: The TFC ™ is a simple output which is active when the pedal is on (the LED lights up). In that case, a DC signal of approximately 8V appears. This TFC ™ link is used for controlling and managing your pedal-board, as well as for some other equipment that is not necessarily on the pedal-board (e.g. light show).

The TFC™ link is just a small option for the future. It comes as a standard feature of all DryBell pedals. The TFC™ link is a 100% galvanically isolated link because it uses opto-couplers and the ground loop is completely eliminated. Presently the Pedal Traffic T-1 - automatic looper, the pedal that uses TFC™ link, is in development. You will get more information about TFC™ link after the Pedal Traffic T-1 is released.
